I'm working on some new stuff for Emerlad. I've got some new pictures sketched out and I'm even working on an AMV. Speaking of, I have one of the Band I could post on here. I'd love if you'd give me some feed back on that. Maybe I can make a poll? Would you guys take it? Are you even reading this or is this just for my OWN enjoyment? HMM??? Well, IF anyone is out there, let me know if I should post the JHSMB 2009-10 on here or not.
As for other things to be said. I am currently in the middle of writing a christmas story for my characters and a FullMetal Alchemist story. My characters' story is titled
"A Very Merry Christmas" An Emerald Story. As for the FMA fic, I have yet to title it and I don't have it with me at the moment. I have a friend who sits by me in American History that loves to read my work. So I let her borrow it to see if it was any good. I don't know what Kat's reaction to it will be like but I hope she likes it. As for the juicy details of the story, you'll have to wait for me to post it. As goes for my Christmas fic. I also have a story I had to write for my friend Nikki about my characters Danny and Aru. No, it is not the sweet friendship story I wanted to write. She insisted I write a couple story. That's right, Siskie wrote a yoai with her characters. I am ashamed of myself as well. But it's nothing but fluff. I'll post it here when I get the chance to type it up, which might actually be tonight if I can.
In other news, the fall play is going on at our school. My friend Josh got one of the lead roles. The play is "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Josh plays the role of Bob Kratchet. He played it very well indeed. Although, I don't know how much longer I can stand to see him in guy-liner with out busting out laughing. I mean, he pulls it off great, and that's the problem. It makes him look more and more like a girl. He already has long blond hair and a peteit figure. The make-up just makes the mistake of calling him a girl easier. Though, personally, I think it makes his eyes pop more. People with blue eyes (as I know) tend to have their eyes pop if they are outlined in black or gray. Needless to say, it makes it hard to sit at lunch and not get pulled into his eyes. They already seem like they see your soul. Damn. Shannon has her work cut out for her. I just typed all that crap up about Josh and I didn't even find it remotly "crush materal" (I'm not saying I have a crush on Josh, he's one of my best friends and it's easy to notice things about someone you hang out with every day). She must really have to knock the girls off him.
As for the rest of school, it's been going great. All but band that is. Normally you wouldn't hear those words come from my mouth (or in this case, see them from my head). But all of band was spent conversating with Shelbert and Paris about how the Concert Bands music was to "uppity" as Paris put it. She said "Our music is to much of 'Oh look, we're so happy and fluttery. We must be light and bouncy!' and the Symphonic Band's music is all serious. Well, with the exception of Johnny's song, but still! For once I'd like our Christmas music to be serious! Last year, the music was hard and complex for us to play. It was a Symphonic peice without the Symphonic attitude of the band. This year, we soudnd like a bunch of sixth graders playing their songs at their CONCERT! We sounded this good two days before our concert LAST YEAR and this is what?! The second week of practicing these peices?! I'm fed up with this "favoritism"! The directors complain about how the band isn't acting like 'one' during the beginning of marching season. What they don't remember is that we WEREN'T 'one' before we came back to marching season. We were TWO! Some bands don't split up into two different bands for concerts. Why can't we stay as one? I'm sure the concert would sound so much better with a full band. After all, both bands fight during practice over some much needed instruments. I just find that there shouldn't be and 'elite' group of kids. It's like saying. "I'll take the smart ones, you take the retards"! Am I the only one whos sees this?"
Shelbert and I both agreed that no, Paris was right. There are somethings that are going on with in the band that shouldn't. But we can't stop them. As far as it goes, we are still underclassmen with no say in band. Next year we'll have more say in it than others. But when we are Seniors, they better watch out. Because if who ever there is messing with the bands is still around at that time, it'll most likely be there last.
Well, I'd love to stay and chat but I have more things to work on. I have a letter to type up for a friend. (You so thought I was gonna quote Stewie! >> I almost did. )
